Opinions Please Bitty twins?

Hello collective brain.

I wanted to know what you all thought about if I should get DD the brunette bitty twins for the holidays.

She has asked for them and the reason that I am hesitating is becuase she got her first AG last CHristmas and since then has added 3 more dolls to her collection.

I know that DH will think that it is too much. But theBittys are so cute and DD is still in her Mommy phase. She has a Cabbage patch baby that she takes care of and has asked for another cabbage patch baby. I figure I may as well spend the extra money and get her the twins that she has also asked for. I don't want to get her both kids of dolls and would rather stick with the AG products.

So those of you with the twins what do you think? Are they as cute as they look? I also think that DD would enjoy sleeping with them.

I would say get them! Bitties and AG dolls are very different- kids play with them in different ways, so the fact that she has AG dolls shouldn't have any bearing on whether or not she gets bitties. What should have a bearing is the fact that she apparently loves baby dolls. You know AG makes a wonderful product. I say get the Bitties, I don't believe there is any way you'll be sorry you did. Cabbage Patch dolls, though cute, are no where near the quality of Bitties. Plus think how easy it will be to just order everything at once from AG. BUY THEM! You know you want to buy them- you just want us to tell you to do it. So BUY THEM!

The bitty twins are adorable! We have the blonde and brunette twins. (I have 2 DDs!) Anyway, my DD got the blonde twins for Christmas the year they came out and they still look great! The quality is excellent! I must say I prefer them over Cabbage Patch dolls! Their faces are so sweet!

You're all correct. All I want is an excuse to get her the Bitty Twins. I mean how cute is all of their stuff?!

I know if they come to our house DH is going to be ery unhappy but the happiness from DD is totally worth it.

I now wish that I had gottne them in their old rompers. I don't love the newer ones.I am still thinking about it but I will keep you posted.

I do not love the new outfits either... the old ones were really sweet BUT- The new ones are not that bad, and I feel like the old ones are too... babyish? for them.

Bitty is our baby- the twins have more of a toddler feel to them.Does that make sense? It is just easier to see them dressed like older babies.

I know older babies can wear soft colors too- Mae wears pastel pink all the time and she is almost two- What she would not wear, however, is a velour hooded, footed sleeper in pale pink.

Either way, you will probably want to dress them in other clothes too.The sleepers they used to come in only feel like sleepers.With the new outfits, they could be sleepers, play clothes, going out clothes- whatever.

As for your Hubby, I bet once he sees how happy you and your daughter are, he will be smiling too. [img]smile.gif[/img]

My daughter wanted twin bitty not the Bitty Twins We ordered 2 bitty babies and buy them bitty twin clothes , This way their hair doesn't get bad from being slept with and she liked to dress like them too ( she is super tiny at 8 she only weighs 42 lbs.) That could be an idea too.

I think you should get her the bitty twins for Christmas. They are adorable and will offer her hours of play time and meet her desire to be a "mommy" to them. In my mind they are very different from the 18 inch dolls and you should get them now while she is at the age to enjoy them fully.

WE got DD the bitty twins about 6 months ago and she loves them. She is now 2 1/2 and loves Dora, so is even happier about having twins because Dora has boy/girl twins. We have the brunette ones and they are adorable. She sleeps with them every night and gets very upset if her brother lays a hand on boy or girl. Get them.
